PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that, effective November 3, 2025, the Superior Court of California, County of San Diego, will relocate the Unlawful Detainer courtroom from the Central Courthouse, 5th floor, Department 501, to the 2nd floor, Department 201.

The Civil Business Office, where Unlawful Detainer filings are accepted, will remain at its current location at the Hall of Justice.

The San Diego Superior Court is renewing calls for the public to beware of increasingly sophisticated and convincing scams.

In observance of the California Native American Day statewide holiday, the San Diego Superior Court will close all courtrooms and business offices on Friday, September 26, 2025.

The public is urged to visit the Court’s website at sdcourt.ca.gov to handle traffic tickets or obtain court information. 

The San Diego Superior Court will continue its Juvenile Court town hall webinar series on Thursday, September 18, 2025, with a focus on probation services tailored to meet the needs of justice-involved youth. 

The law requires youth entering the juvenile justice system to receive rehabilitative services that hold them accountable for their conduct and meet their individual needs. The services offered in San Diego County include behavioral health, mental health, substance use, gang prevention, mentorship, and more!
