Effective July 1, 2025, the court’s Fee Schedule (SDSC Form #ADM-001) will be amended and the fees charged for standard, rush, and emergency delivery of off-site retrieval of documents (Line 195) will increase as follows:

  • Off-Site Retrieval – Standard $32
  • Off-Site Retrieval - Rush (same day if requested by 10:00 a.m.): $50
  • Off-Site Retrieval - Emergency (within three hours of request): $63

Pursuant to Cal. Rules of Court, rule 10.815, courts are authorized to charge a reasonable fee for the retrieval of documents stored offsite. The fee may not exceed the court’s cost in providing the service. The new fee amounts indicated above reflect the court’s actual costs under our existing vendor contract.

The court invites public comment on a change being made to the court’s Fee Schedule (SDSC Form #ADM-001).  Effective July 1, 2025, the fees charged for standard, rush, and emergency delivery of off-site retrieval of documents (Line 195) will increase.

Invitation to Comment:

The court invites public comment on these changes before their implementation. To ensure prompt review and consideration, comments should be submitted electronically. For those without internet access, comments may be mailed to the San Diego Superior Court Executive Office, P.O. Box 122724, San Diego, CA 92112. Comments must be received by the court by May 30, 2025, to be considered.
